BRIEF HISTORY

The concept of what is now known as AKINBAK VENTURES LIMITED can be traced to the efforts of MR. Kola Akinleye who in association with his wife Mrs. Kemi Akinleye formed the corporate outfit.
By dint of hard work and resourcefulness, the business which commenced operation at 4, George Street, Shomolu, Lagos was upgraded with other branches located at 30, Oguntolu Street, Shomolu, Lagos, 3, Market Street, Shomolu, Lagos and Plot 40, Yaounde Street, Wuze Zone 6, Abuja. The corporate office is located at 8, Bailey Street, Shomolu, Lagos.

The operations of the company cover printing service, marketing of printing papers and allied services, general supplies haulage services, and agricultural ventures.

Consequently on the 25th February, 1994, Akinbak Ventures Limited was born. In view of the business sagacity of Mr. Kola Akinleye who is an alumnus of Business Administration, University of Lagos as well as a member of two professional bodies, the company has witnessed tremendous growth generally.

In 1994, the authorized Share Capital of the company was N50,000, comprising  of 50,000 Ordinary Shares of N1.00 each. Later, the authorized Share Capital was increased to N1 Million.
The Company has perfected relevant legal documents of increasing the authorized Share Capital of the company from the existing N1 Million to N5 Million on 5th of February, 2009.

With the improved capital base, the Company plans to open more branches in Kaduna, Ibadan and Port Harcourt as soon as possible. In addition, the company has recently acquired ten Acres of Land at Ibadan with a view to practicing mechanized farming therein. We hope to increase the farmland, within the nearest future to fifty Acres.
